He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Chisholm and Anna Mae Chisholm; his siblings, Ann (Otis Drysdale) and Donald; and his wife Joan (Kidston).
He is survived by: his son Tim (Vanessa Smith); and his siblings, Eileen (Bob Brogan), Harold (Francine), Leonard (Patsy), Clifford (Rose) and Tom (Paula). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Hope Cottage or The Canadian Cancer Society.
