He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Francis Dober and Mary Veronica Dober (Emberley); his brother Paul; and his nephew Ryan Cranidge. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Doyle; his stepchildren, Shawn Doyle (Amanda) and Stephanie Lane; his grandchildren, Hugo, Felix, Monty, Amelia and Pierce; his friend Roy Bennet; and his siblings, David (Carolyn), Valerie Cranidge (Michael) and Maria Dober. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
