Joseph Tanos Rahme Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Tanos Rahme (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joseph. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Dib; his sons, Christian and John Paul; his parents, Tanos Rahme and Salwa Rahme; and his siblings, George Rahme (Olivia), Nada Rahme and Marie Noelle (Robert Rahme). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
