Julia Anne Weir Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Anne Weir of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 5, 2005 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Hillier and Lavina Hillier (Reid); her husband Roddy Weir; and her siblings, Mary Belle, Sarah, Ruby, Louise, John, William, James, Stanley and Roy.
She is survived by: her children, Carrol Lillian Tracz (Naster) of Lower Sackville, Hazel V. Marie Dodge of Alberta, Jessie Ethelyn Cloutier (Yvon) of Wilmot, Cheryl Anne Weir of Halifax, Melvin (Florence) of Windsor, Newfoundland and John (Trudy) of Tignish; her grandson Roddy Weir (Kim MacLeod) of Wilmot; her foster sons, Scott Gaul of Middleton and Andrew Robar (Brenda) of Ontario; and her sister Daisy Drover of Kitchener, Ontario. She is also survived by several other foster children, her 22 other grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, the Diabetics Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or The Salvation Army Fairview Citadel Corps (Church) in Halifax.
