It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julia Elizabeth McEachern (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Moncton, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 4, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carey and Christina Carey (Raymond); and her siblings, Frances Procter, Raymond Carey and Jack Carey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Raftus (Eric), Christine Shunamon (Rick), Karen McEachern, Elizabeth Benteau (Alphonse) and Susan Atkins (Michael); and her brothers, Patrick Carey and Thomas Carey. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Haliburton Place Nursing Home, Parkinson's Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
