Karen Ann Laforest Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Ann Laforest in Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Jaclyn Hennessey; her grandparents, Glenford, Janet Morris, Frank and Geraldine Gallant; and her parents-in-law, Edward Laforest and Edith Laforest.

She is survived by: her husband Phil Laforest; her parents, Leroy Morris and Margaret Morris; her siblings, Kevin Morris (Debbie), Glenda Pearson (Kevin) and Greg Morris-Poultney (D'Arcy); her in-laws, Collette Snow (Wayne), Simone Laforest and Marcel Laforest (Teressa); and her nieces and nephews, Andrew Morris, Rebecca Burnside, Jeanette Sullivan, Johnathan Morris-Poultney, Jasper Morris-Poultney, Ryan Snow, Holly Snow, Matthew Laforest and Madeleine Laforest. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
