She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances McGrath and Allen McGrath; her former husband Karl Chernecki; and her brother Patrick. She is survived by: her husband Angus Thompson; her daughter Leslie Chernecki; her brothers, Alan and Gerry; her grandchildren, David and Brittany; and her great grandchildren, Ziyah, Sadie and Sol.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
