She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Sampson (Perry) and Abraham Sampson; her husband Joseph MacDonald; her sons, Joseph, Bryan and Terrance (Terry); and her siblings, Betty, Rita, Doreen, Edward, Lawrence, Gerald, Clifford and Clarence.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn, Michael (Jeanne) and Darrell (Anita); her grandchildren, Julianna, Alexander, Nicholas and Jeffrey; her great grandchildren, Lachlan, Quinn, Malakai and McKenna; and her siblings, Lilly, Bernice, Jeannie and Charles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the J Albert Walker Funeral Home (149 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P 1K6). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Parish (14 St Michaels Ave, Halifax, NS B3P1M5).
