He was predeceased by: his parent Gunnar. He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his daughters, Anna Maria and Kim Simone (Matthew Veinotte); his granddaughter Hensley Maria; and his siblings, Anne-Christine Hedberg, Carin (Heinz Dahlke), Gunn Brag (Veine Nilsson), Anette (Göran Nordin) and Anders.

In lieu of flowers, Lars and his family would be humbled with a donation to any number of deserving causes, including MS Canada or Hospice Halifax.
