It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Jean Kirk of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Kirk; her son Adam "Corey" Kirk; her brother-in-law Fred Mason; and her parents-in-law, Stanley and Annie Kirk.

She is survived by: her son Ivan Kirk (Jennifer); her sister-in-law Patsy Mason; her granddaughters, Victoria Kirk, Grace Kirk and Emily Kirk; her great grandchildren, Ava and Amelia Kirk-Baron; and her friends, Annmarie and Paul Kennedy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
