She was predeceased by: her parents, Judge Frederick William Bissett and Katherine Covert; her son Peter Furhovde; her sister Elizabeth Bissett; and the father of her children Erling Furhovde.
She is survived by: her brother Bill Bissett; her children, William Furhovde (Billy) and Katherine Mohammed (Ronald); her daughter-in-law Cindy Furhovde; her grandchildren, Hannah Henken (Marius) and Matthew Mohammed; and her great grandchild Elias Henken.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ja Snow's Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
