He was predeceased by: his parents, Herc Buchanan and Norma Buchanan; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Janice Buchanan, Rebecca Henderson (Dave) and Daniel Buchanan (Emily); his siblings, Lorraine Swansburg (Charles) and Richard Buchanan (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Brooke, Hugh and Jane.
