She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonsine MacGillivray and Joseph MacGillivray; her brothers, Angus "Gus", Tony, Frank and John; her former husband Gordon Brown; her son-in-law Bert Wade; and her grandson Timothy Rafuse.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Wade (Bert), Cathy Rafuse, Colleen Kerekes (Peter), Sandra (Bill), Stephen (Sherri) and Bernard (Terri); her sister Anne Smith (James); and her grandchildren, Daniel Wade, Derek Kerekes, Andre Gaudet, Karen Wade, Angela Rafuse, Stephanie Norman, Samantha Munroe, Emma Brown and Jessica Carter. She is also survived by 10 great grand-children and several nieces and nephews.
