He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jackson and Isabelle Jackson (MacQuarrie); his wife Betty Jackson (Elizabeth); his son Paul; his siblings, Donald (Hester), Jimmy, Neil, Allan and Julia Mills (James); and his sons-in-law, Roger Foy and Wendell Hume.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Stevens (Merton) of Cambridge, NS, Gordon and Lorna Hume; his grandchildren, Angela Breau (Joey), Jason Hume (Maia), Jamie Foy (Trudy) and Jon Foy (Kim); his great grandchildren, Anthony Hume, Dylan Foy, Autumn, Willow and Summer Foy; his daughter-in-law Louanne; and his sister-in-law Martha.
