Lillian Evelyn Backman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Evelyn Backman of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Backman and Katherine Canning. She is survived by: her close friend Paul; her children, Mitchel MacLatchie (Becky), Joshua MacLatchie and Katherine MacLatchie (Craig); her siblings, Vicky Pringle, George (Rowena), Robert (Shannon), Bruce (Betsy) and Timothy (Kelly); and her former husband Ian MacLatchie (Krista). She is also survived by many aunts, nieces and nephews.
