She was predeceased by: her parents, Rowland Mitchell and Theodora Mitchell; and her brother David. She is survived by: her husband Harold Mills; her granddaughter Julia; her sons, Andrew (Alison) and Matthew (Amanda); her grandchildren, Eleanor, Arthur and Florence; and her sister Karen Mitchell (Newfoundland).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). During Covid, Linda began to play bridge online and organized many games for her many friends, through Bridge Based Online.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Linda to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission or Halifax Hospice.
