He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Forward (Bertha Forward) and Bertha Forward; his former wife Shirley Forward (Elliott); his granddaughter Amanda Forward; and his siblings, Barbara Penney (Carl), Robert Forward (Shirley) and Rose Warren (Willis).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Forward (Chamberlain); his children, John (Sherrie Mosher) and Sandra (Sean Warner); his siblings, Wendel, Georgina and Phyllis; his grandsons, Johnathon Forward (Allison), Joseph Stilwell (Omm), Benjamin Stilwell (Rebecca) and Samuel Stilwell (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Finnegan, Miranda, Oliver, Elliott and Barrett; and his stepchildren, Paula Dobson (Philip McNeil), Susan Meeds (Mike) and Arthur Chamberlain (Alicia). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lloyd's memory to Pancreatic Cancer Canada, the Royal Canadian Legion, VETS Canada, the Canadian Veterans Services Society, or Diabetes Canada.
