He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Charles and Susan Toney (Googoo); his siblings, Dianne Toney, John Toney and Lena Bernard; his nephew Kevin D. Poulette; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence "Lunch" Bernard, Dan J. Paul and Annie Jane Toney.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa, Audrey, Nathan Toney, Denny Brian Googoo, Cheri Brooks, Stephen, Chester, Justin W. Johnson, Lloyd and Therese Toney of Indian Brook; and his brother Benedict Toney. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 godchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
