She was predeceased by: her husband George Gordon; her children, Sharon and Danny Robert; and her parents, Mildred Lydia Byrne (Wiswell) of Boston and John William Byrne of Musquodoboit.
She is survived by: her children, George "Skip" (Shirley) and Karen Spurr (Mike) of Halifax; her daughter-in-law Debbie Borgal of Bedford; her grandchildren, Matt Borgal (Rebecca) of Rines Creek, Colin Borgal of Ottawa, Kim Carver (Andrew) of Halifax, Lori Vout (Richard) of Halifax and Kate Spurr of Halifax; her great grandchildren, Ryalee, Rowan Borgal, Calvin, Keira Carver, Elowyn and Naiomi Vout; and her goddaughter Janeen Bancroft (Brian) of Toronto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
