She was predeceased by: her parents, Seretha Keating (Marryatt) and Joseph Keating; her husband Roy McPherson; and her siblings, Lloyd, Albert, Harry, Collins, Joey, Theresa, Blanche, Edith and Dorothy "Dot".
She is survived by: her friends, Ruthie and Hazel; her daughters, Karen Stevens (Vic), Marilyn Lundrigan (Allan), Jane Cormier (Dale) and Suzanne Doucet (Gerry); her grandchildren, Aimee (John), Christa (Mark), Vanessa (Nick), Craig, Kara (Stewart) and Erika (Lewis); her great grandchildren, Hailee (Michael), Mitchell, Justin, Royce, Brooklyn, Blake and Lee; her siblings, Shirley Dwyer, June Morris and Claude "Buddy" Keating; and her caregiver Connie.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Society Nova Scotia.
