Marie Isolde Barbara Jannasch Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Isolde Barbara Jannasch of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Friedhelm and Wolfgang; her parents, Christian Dierig and Charlotte; her son Markus; and her brother Christian.

She is survived by: her children, Christine (Stephen Knowles), Emanuel (Kerol Rose) and Rupert (Heather Johnson); her grandchildren, Willie Stevenson (Colleen Shanahan), Charles Jannasch of Halifax, Nicholas (Alex Jay), Nathaniel (Misha Sharma), Niels (Natalie Pearson), Stefan Jewitt of Gatineau and Ottawa; and her great grandchildren, Max, Scarlett, Marcus, Henry, Rowan and Walter.
