She was predeceased by: her husband Al Gillingham; her parents, Margaret Gillis (Peggy) and Eddie Grant; her sisters, Barbara Yakey (Chester), Patsy Chisholm (Duncan) and Phyllis Walker (Gordon); and her niece Debbie Cotton.

She is survived by: her brother Glenn Gillis; her brother-in-law Ron Gillingham (Marion); and her sibling's children, Derrick Knott (Kaye), Deanna Cameron (Graham), Darrell Knott (Cindy), Karen Korey, Darren Yakey, Deb Laur, Marilee Roth (Randy) and Kathy Cedar (Steve). She is also survived by many grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins.
