It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Louise Melanson of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Murphy and Grace Murphy (Wilson) of Halifax, NS.; her husband Lloyd Melanson; and her brother Donald Murphy. She is survived by: her brother Kenneth Murphy (Marion); and her sibling's children, Cheryl (George) and Paul (Nikki).
