She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. George M. Dewis and Mildred Dewis (Newcomb); her husband George M. Kennedy of Bridgetown, N. S; and her brother Fraser Dewis. She is survived by: her children, Jamie, Pam (Michael DeGrace), Peter and Diane (Terry Rudiak); her grandchildren, Tyler, Sydney and Rochelle Rudiak; and her siblings, Murray and Pam (Engel). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and several cousins.
