She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Smith and Alice Smith; her daughter Sharon; and her siblings, Robert Smith and Kay Thorne (Smith).
She is survived by: her significant other Robert F. Walker; her daughters, Kathy Lai (James) and Susan Halliday (Neil); her son-in-law René (Esther); her grandchildren, Elyssa, Jeremy Lai (Amy), Stephanie Schlichter (Daniel), Marc Savard (Virginie), Heidi O'Brien (Sean) and Kevin Savard (Claudia); her great grandchildren, Zoë Lai, Mathieu, Raphaël Savard and Isaac Schlichter; and her brothers, Ray Smith (Sharon) and Rev. Ronald Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
