It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion W. Light (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Berwick, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Mildred Vivian White (Skinner); her daughter Barbara; her sister Florence Haynes; her niece Myrna Reid; her foster brother Gordon Magee; her cousins, John and Bill Skinner; and also, Mary Shepard, Margaret Johansen and Craig Bowling.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Angela Brenton Carter (David) of Tulsa, OK and Jan Brenton Holley (Brad); her great grandchildren, Adella Carter, Essen Holley, Simon Carter and Theron Holley; her nephew Eric Haynes (Ellen); her cousins, Richard Skinner (Joanne), Cambridge, Elizabeth Hamilton (Chris) and Barbara (Bob); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lisa Mills, Angie Lantaigne, Steven, Mark and Wade Haynes; and also Betty Magee (Cambridge).
