He is survived by: his spouse Pat Pettit (Douglas); his sons, Michael and Drew (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ava, Clara, Declan and Jilly; his siblings, Michael Ireland (Frances) and Mary Dervan (John); and his sisters-in-law, Annette, Mary and Eileen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
