She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Matthews; her parents, Cecilia Dunn and Joseph Dunn; her stepparents, Camilla Dunn-Doran and William Doran; her sister Ann Kennedy; her parents-in-law, Janet Matthews-Forward and Hayward Matthews; and her brother-in-law Joseph Collins.

She is survived by: her daughter Cecilia Jane Lucie Matthews; her grandchildren, Blake, Seth and Brooklyn; her sister Cathy Kennedy (Terry); her sisters-in-law, Lyn Collins (Gerard Tulk) and Fay Fowlow (Geoff); her brothers, Archbishop Brian Dunn and Joseph Dunn; her brothers-in-law, Steve Kennedy (Yvonne) and Garry Matthews (Sandra); and her nieces and nephews, Maryann Kennedy, Veronica Richards, Sarah Sorensen (Andrew), Jill Chappell (Mark), Tracey Rousseau (Stephen Gombosi), Nicole Rousseau (Dave Andrews), Stephen Kennedy (Penny), Brian Kennedy (Terri), Tom Kennedy (Terri), Terry Kennedy (Caitlin) and Andrew Matthews (Jenny). She is also survived by numerous cousins and dear friends.
