She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Thomas B. Murphy and Frances Murphy; her brothers, David and Bill; her nieces, Fran and Stephanie; and her brother-in-law Pat Grannan.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Thomas Hynes (Laura) of Dartmouth, Judy Hynes MacNeil (Steven) of Dartmouth and Marian Hynes Grandy (Michael); her grandchildren, Isabelle, Emerson, Lincoln, Rafael, Lauchlin, Hudson and Henry; her siblings, Bernice Grant (Cyril), Judith Grannan (Pat) and Dr. Thomas Murphy (Colleen); and her sisters-in-law, Dr. Michele Murphy (Bill) and Ellen MacFarlane (Colin). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be to be made to the Canadian Red Cross: Health Equipment Loan Program or the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation.
