With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Dorothy Shannon of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in West Arichat, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Mary; her children, Cindy Melkert (Rick), Martin Shannon (Kate), Donald Shannon and Lindsay Shannon (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Stephen Melkert, Sarah Hopkins (Brock), Ashley Fleiger (Adam), Samuel, Olivia Shannon and Lauren Shannon; her husband Joseph Shannon; and her sisters, Jeanette Mellish and Leda Leblanc. She was also cherished by her children and grandchildren.
