It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Babineau (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 21, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas McLaughlin and Gladys McLaughlin (Twohig); her former husband Donald Osborne; her husband Laurie Babineau; and her sisters, Rita Innes, Doris Stewart and Peggy Jackson.

She is survived by : her children, Cathy Sirota (Gary), Bill Osborne (Theresa), Alberta, Tom Osborne (Susan), Greg Osborne, Bedford and Mike Osborne; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Mark, Blaire, Ryan and Cynthia; and her brother Tom McLaughlin (Joan).

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 25th 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2B3). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 26th 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, November 26th 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
