It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Jurgens (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate Irene Ethel and William Sydney Neate; her husband Iwan; and her brother Roger. She is survived by: her children, Alex (Tannis) of Falmouth, NS, Philip (Kim) of Williamsburg, ON, Anna (Andrew Munn) of Halifax, NS and Stefan (Danielle) of Toronto, ON; her grandchildren, Kate, Claire, Andrew, Austin, Sandy, Robyn and Geoffrey; her great grandchild Maddox; her nephew Timothy Neate; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Oliver, Thomas and Emily of Essex, UK..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to All Saints Cathedral (Halifax), or to the Palliative Care Unit of the Victoria General Hospital.
