We announce the death of Mason Edward Craig Watling in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 1. Mason will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Peter Bakewell, Ethel, Ronald Godsoe and Ivan Morehouse. He is survived by: his parents, Rebecca Watling and Kyle Watling; his grandparents, Wendy, Craig Morehouse, Eddie and Marjorie Watling; his aunts and uncles, Emily Morehouse, Carolanne Watling (Liam), Mackayla and Austin Montreuil; and his great-grandparents, Brian Morehouse (Linda), Eleanor Morehouse, Susan Bakewell, Steve Watling (Liz), Norbert and Jeannette Michaud. He is also survived by many cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mactaquac Baptist Church (1496 NB-105, Bright Parish, NB E6L1B8). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mactaquac Baptist Church Cemetery (1496 NB-105, Bright Parish, NB E6L1B8).
