With solemn reverence, we commemorate Matilda Annette Grant (Halifax, Nova Scotia), whose life came to an end on June 17, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Grant (Tommy); her parents, Patrick McCarthy and Mary Malone (McQuaid); her siblings, Merlin, Gerard, Leo and Sister Bertha; and her siblings-in-law, Pearl, Mabel, Patricia, Verna, Mardith, Ginny, Ernie, Basil, Merlin and Kenny.

She is survived by: her children, Peter of Halifax, Cathy (Dale) of Park Corner and Sandy (Bruce) of Ketch Harbour; her granddaughter Julie Anne (Pam) of Halifax; her sisters, Rita (Lenny) of Burlington and Patricia of Clyde River; her siblings-in-law, Ray (Colleen) of Montague and Florence of St. Catharines; and her friend Marie. She is also survived by family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Annette's name to the Society of the Little Flower PEI.
