It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maude M. Lorde-Cox (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Beechville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Wright and Pearl Wright (Niles); her husband Herman Cox (Lloyd Lorde); her siblings, Edie Wright, Doris Johnson, Joan Colley, Gloria Wright, Clarence Wright and Arnold Wright; and her grandson Emmanuel Corbett-Lorde.
She is survived by: her brothers, Charles Wright (Marjorie) of Beechville, NS, David Wright, Teddy Wright (Carol), Ruford Wright, Ormstown and Ivan Wright (Geraldine); and her sons, Perry Wright, Ronald Wright, Alonzo Wright (Tammie), Pearlene Wright (Gordon), Christopher Lorde of Moncton, NB, Lloyd Lorde (Jen), Paul Lorde and Anton Lorde of Yarmouth, NS.. She is also survived by her eight children, 18 grand-children, and five great-grandchildren, and is survived by one daughter.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the New Horizons Baptist Church Building Fund, in memoriam.
