He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Stanley and Mary Lillian Coombs (Rideout); and his son Michael "Coomsie" Coombs. He is survived by: his wife Janet Sampson Coombs; his sisters, Alice Coombs Spryfield, Kathleen Bryden (Kevin), Middle Cornwall and Theresa Coombs (Glenn); his grandson Blake Harvey; his siblings' children, Tammy (Donnie), Ashley (Robert), Cory and Chris (Lisa); and his great-nephews, Caleb and Carter.
