With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Louise Thomas (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 25, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Fred Thomas (Paula), Rodney Lawrence (Larry Conrad) and Joseph Thomas; her grandchildren, Kenneth Cazes, Tammy Thomas and Dominic Thomas; and her siblings, Donald, Clarence, Harding "Bidd", David, Irving, Lovett, Ernest, George "Pudd", Peggy, Ruth and Marge.
She is survived by: her spouse Alexander Daniel Thomas of Halifax; her significant other Stanley Earle Dixon of Africville; and her children, Elizabeth Thomas-Wright of Quebec, Kathleen Mitchell, Pearline Byers (late James Sr.), Alexander Thomas (Heather), Velma Skeir (Wendell), Margaret Thomas, Mary Clayton, Patricia Thomas-Barton (Larry), Alvin Lawrence (Wanda), Germaine Lawrence and Troy Thomas (Grazie). She is also survived by her children and had a special place in her heart for all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
