It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ming Guat Lau in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Soong Hua Lau; and his parents, Datuk Lau Leong and Datin Chong Loon. He is survived by: his children, Julian (Christina), Christopher (Melody) and Jennifer (Seán); and his grandchildren, Katherine, Joshua, Jayden, Maya, Sienna and Kyla. He is also survived by siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews.
