It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Ruth Nordfjeld of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McLaughlin and Dorothy McLaughlin (McLeod); her sister Paula Lee; and her half-sister Patricia Trimmer. She is survived by: her children, Michael of Edmonton, Ellen Millington (Bruce) and Jane Leslie (Bradley) of Halifax; her sister Bernadette Henderson; and her half-sisters, Carole Jones and Christine Pace. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
