She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Boss and Sarah Boss (Simpson); her son Jeremy; and her siblings, Darrell, Oral, Cedric, Milton and Alma.

She is survived by: her significant other James "Jim" Dares; her children, Wendy (Mark), John (Lori) and Jeff (Andie); her daughters-in-law, Amanda, Debbie and Janice; her grandchildren, Mel (Burns), Cassie (Andrew), Meghan (Jake), Courtney (Jesse), Sara (Chris), Natalie (Kris), Jordan (Grace), Amanda, Robyn, Emily and Jake; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Ryker, Ocean, Sadie, Raelan, Hunter, Jasmine, Jimmy, Scarlett and Jade; and her siblings, Ormond Boss (Audrey), Ronald Boss (Linda) and Phyllis Lewis (Leigh). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
