She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Smyth (Robson) and Herbert Wesley Smyth; and her brother Ralph Smyth. She is survived by: her niece Janet Smyth (Brennan); her great-nephew Wesley Macauley; her sister-in-law Nancy Smyth; her nephew Rick Smyth; her great-nieces, Kaylee and Raelyn Smyth; and her cousins, Judy Mitchell, Heather Cowie and Suzanne Valiant.

Donations may be made in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society or organization of choice.
