He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Smith and Emily Smith (Jones); his wife Heather (Ingram); his children, Jason of Sackville and Laura Upshaw (Marvin) of Sackville; his grandchildren, Jody, Denico and Nyomah Upshaw; and his siblings, Gordon (Norma) of Sackville, Bruce of Dartmouth, Brenda Cook (David) of East Chezzetcook and Andrea Smith Halifax. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
