She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Baird and Mae Baird of Windsor, NS.; and her siblings, Helen, Dorothy, Anna, Kathleen and Bill.
She is survived by: her brother Dr. Robert Baird; her husband William Richard Legge; her children, Julie Ann Dugie (Daniel), Daniel Gordon (Cindy) and William Donald (Mila); her grandchildren, Matthew, Brian, Anna, Robyn, Ellen, Thomas and Bob; and her great grandchild Everett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society Nova Scotia or Nova Scotia Humane Society (SPCA).
