He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Legge. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Legge (Hebb); his friend Laurena MacDonald; his siblings, Thomas (Irene) of Cherryville and Alexandra "Tootsie" (Davor) of Halifax; his father-in-law Lawrence MacDonald of Brook Village; his brother-in-law David MacDonald; and his nieces, Rebecca, Abby and Sheena MacDonald of Belleisle. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
