He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Shannon and Mary Shannon (Gamblin); and his siblings, Jimmy and Janice. He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Beth, Ann (John Leahy) and Peter (Tracy Purchase); his grandchildren, Thomas (Eileen Bekkers), Georgia, Jack (Gwyneth Christoffel), Elizabeth, Grace and Bradley; Blair Wallace.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn United Church (54 Woodlawn Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2W2S1).
