It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olga Sophocles Meagher (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her parents, Sophocles Poulos and Marguerita Poulos; her sister Ann Kane (Thomas); and her sister-in-law Janet Ferguson.
She is survived by: her son David (Lana); her grandsons, Colton (Emma Holle) and Chad; her son Chris (Carrie); her granddaughters, Ashley and Paige; her sister Helen Poulos; her sibling's children, Laura Burke (Steve) and Strat Kane (Nova); and her siblings-in-law, David White (Beverley) and Carol White-Ritcey (Jim). She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Prescott Group Halifax, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
