She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hughes and Marjorie Hughes of Halifax; her husband Bliss Dorcas; and her brother Larry Hughes. She is survived by: her son Sean Gray (Karen); and her sisters, Janet Kehl of Victoria, BC and Deborah Campbell (Colin). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as grand-nieces/nephews.
Donations in her memory would be appreciated to the Companion Animal Trust Fund, Atlantic Veterinary College, UPEI; the Canadian Cancer Society; or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
