He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph and Zita May Connors (Hayes); his former wife Rene (Hatt); his wife Ruth Fleming; and his siblings, Carol Connors, Gerald, Charles, Patrick and Barry Connors.

He is survived by: his former wife Noreen Hatt (Rene); his children, Bernard, Karen Connors (Stuart Althaus), Bernie Connors (Kathy) and Lisa Bower (Ron); his brothers, Robert and Kenneth Connors; and his grandchildren, James, Liam Connors, Terence, Emma Johnson and Jonathan Bower.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
