He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Reed and Florence Reed; his brother Frank; and his sister-in-law Sharon of Toronto, Ontario.. He is survived by: his wife Joy Reed (MacKinnon); his children, Jeffrey Reed, Denise Sears (Mike) and David Reed; his granddaughters, Kara (Chris), Angela (Steve), Jacklyn (Bob) and Katie (Mick); his nieces, Cheryl and Debbie; Ann Ross (Murray) of Cold Lake, Alberta, Lauchie MacKinnon (Clarah) of Lloydminster, Alberta, Glenda MacKinnon (Bob) of Truro and Breton MacKinnon (Roberta) of Glace Bay.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
Donations in Paul's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
