He was predeceased by: his brother Kevin; and his half-brother Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Lambert); his daughters, Alanna (Stephen) and Melissa (Sean); his granddaughters, Jorja and Mia; his half-sister Jean; and his sibling's children, Jaclyn (Glen) and Adam (Jill).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the QEII Cancer Centre, Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
